When we went in her room to get her up she was making happy squealy noises. We looked in her crib and her face was covered with her 'lovey' (the taggie blanket her babysitter, Julie, made her). Her little arms and legs went rigid with excitement as we talked to her and when we pulled her lovey off her face she was grinning as if she had just invented the game of Peek-a-boo. Her lovey is pictured below - long before it was her lovey. Wow - she was tiny. :-)

Samara's Lovey
While Samara took her morning nap, Tim and I put together the jogging stroller my parents had gotten me for my birthday. We were still putting it together when Samara woke up. We heard her talking in her crib and left her there for a while as we finished the stroller.
