Pear Cheddar Pie Recipe

Fruit Filling

4 large ripe pears - peeled and cut into pieces
1/3 c. sugar
1 T. corn starch
1/8 t. salt

Combine and pour into unbaked pie shell

Topping
1/4 c. softened margarine
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt

Crumble on top of fruit filling

Bake with foil around edges at 425 for 15-20 minutes
Remove foil and bake for additional 10-15 minutes
